Dublin Art Society Annual Exhibition

Annie is delighted to be exhibiting again with the Dublin Art Society in their Annual Exhibition

to be held in Dalkey Town Hall.

Please join us for the Grand Opening on Friday 7th November at 6.30pm

or visit the exhibition during Saturday 8th, 11am to 6pm

or Sunday 9th, 11am to 5pm.

 

 

 

 

 

Fota Exhibition Relocated

The exhibition at Fota House has been relocated to the 'Old Market House' Art Gallery in Dungarvan, Co. Waterford.

Come and see artworks by the MOR Collective inspired by the Fota Historic Wallpaper Collection. On display will be 'The Cherry Thief', painted using the scraffito method. This is where egg tempera is painted over 24crt. gold leaf, the image is then made by scratching off the tempera to reveal the gold.

 

The Dublin Art Society at Farmleigh Summer 2025

The Dublin Art Society members are exhibiting in 'The Cowshed Gallery' at Farmleigh House, Phoenix Park in Dublin.

Come and view this exciting exhibition starting with the Grand Opening on Saturday 28th June between 2pm to 5pm.

The exhibition runs to Monday 7th July, daily from 10am to 5pm. 

Annie will be exhibiting 'Mazda', painted in egg tempera, and 'Corn,Beef and Cabbages', painted in acrylic... details below

Fota House Exhibition 2025

The works on display in the MOR Collective exhibition at Fota House this month are inspired by the fasinating Wallpaper Collection held and displayed at Fota House, near Cork.

Come and see Annie's 'Cherry Thief', worked in egg tempera on gold leaf using Scaffito, a method used in Renaissance paintings and iconography to paint rich golden fabrics and details. 

Exhibition Starts on from June 9th to June 22nd. Reception June 12th 6pm.

'Faith in The Process' Exhibition Waterford Gallery of Art

Annie is delighted to be exhibiting  in the 'Faith in The Process' exhibition at Waterford Gallery of Art.

Her triptych 'Mary of Egypt', painted in egg tempera, will be on display in this beautiful group exhibition from

April 17th to August 16th 2025.

February 2024:

Following my talk on Iconography with a Demonstration of Egg Tempera Painting given at The Old Market Art Gallery in Dungarvan, and also at the Waterford Gallery of Art last year, The Waterford Gallery of Art has purchased the icon of ‘The Annunciation’ to be part of their permanent collection.

 The Annunciation:

Egg tempera on Gessoed Poplar Wood Panel, with back braces and recessed centre to form frame on the front. 24crt Gold Leaf.
Size: 300 x 250mm.
